Service Manual 2016 Rav4
The 2006 service manual was the last 'full' single volume manual. It will cover much of your 2010, especially if you have a V-6. There will be some differences in the body section and, of course, the 4-cylinder engine was all new for 2009. The official source for the service manual is techinfo.toyota.com which you have to pay to access, but you can buy a two-day pass for $15. The current manuals for the 2010 are available piecemeal (chapter-by-chapter), so it is a little tedious to assemble the full set, but if you have some time on your hands, it can be done.

JuneBug, I bought a 2015 just a month or so ago from a reputable dealer (is there such a place?) or so I thought. As part of the the closing deal, I requested a service manual. The response was 'we'll call you when it gets here'. I got a call about a week ago from the service manager, telling me that Toyota no longer publishes ( or provides the data to Helm for publishing) a manual.
They tell me it's not available on CD. Lastly, I'm told that if the tech's need information about a repair, the information is only available online. Is this for real or are they hoping I won't be checking around? I've looked on a couple of places on line but no service manuals for 2015 found, so far. Thanks for your time in replying. Z Well this time, the car dealer is telling the truth. All the Toyota service data is now online at the TIS site. In relation to the TIS Site, is there a limit to the quantity of material I can download? For instance If I get a 2 day access, am I limited to 2 chapters or a certain number of pages (equivalent to paper pages lets say) per day? Thanks again for your time!

Z On the TIS site there is no limit so you can read to your heart's content. There is no download function, per se, but it does have a print function.
What you do is get a print driver that generates a PDF file (PDF995, CutePDF are examples) and 'print' that way. If you have the patience, you can generate a complete manual set that way, but it will be hundreds of chapters.
